Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens Its Global Outlook by Expanding Academic Cooperation with British Universities

As part of its commitment to internationalization and enhancing its academic standing, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, participated in a meeting with the British Council within the framework of the Academic Bridge Initiative, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to strengthen cooperation between Iraqi and British universities. The meeting, which was held in a hybrid format (in-person and online), discussed several scientific initiatives aimed at developing academic programs and launching joint research projects between the two sides. During the meeting, the university president highlighted the most prominent international cooperation initiatives of Al-Mustaqbal University, including the Summer Training Program for students at Teesside University in the United Kingdom, in addition to academic collaboration with the University of Nottingham in the field of pharmacy, as well as medical partnerships with Queen’s College and the University of Manchester, which have contributed to supporting scientific research and developing educational programs. These steps reflect Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and providing distinguished educational and research opportunities for its students, thereby enhancing the quality of education and keeping pace with the global academic environment.
