The Qur'an is considered the primary source from which Islamic societies derive their values and principles. It establishes the foundations upon which both individual and social life are built. The Qur'an is not limited to being a book for worship and recitation only; rather, it presents a comprehensive way of life that organizes human relationships and guides people toward goodness and righteousness. This makes it an essential element in building a cohesive society based on justice and cooperation. The Qur'an contributes to building society by promoting moral values such as honesty, trustworthiness, tolerance, and justice. These values are fundamental for the stability of any society. When individuals follow these principles in their daily interactions, trust spreads among them and conflicts and problems decrease. The Qur'an also encourages respect for others and cooperation, which strengthens the spirit of love and solidarity within the community. Moreover, the Qur'an emphasizes the principle of social justice by affirming equality among people without discrimination. It calls for supporting the oppressed and helping those in need. It also encourages charity and almsgiving as means of achieving social solidarity and reducing the gap between different social classes, which leads to a more balanced and stable society. In addition, the Qur'an gives great importance to building a righteous family, as the family is the fundamental unit of society. When the family is based on love, mercy, and cooperation, this positively affects society as a whole. As a result, good individuals are raised who are capable of contributing to the progress and development of their community. In conclusion, the Qur'an plays a significant role in building society by guiding individuals toward moral virtues, establishing principles of justice and solidarity, and strengthening family and social bonds.
