In a move to strengthen international academic cooperation and enhance research outcomes, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, participated in an extensive meeting with the British Council. This engagement falls under the "Academic Bridge" initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The "hybrid" meeting brought together a distinguished group of academics to explore horizons for joint scientific cooperation and the development of educational programs between Iraq and the United Kingdom.
During the session, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi outlined the university's roadmap for global engagement, highlighting the summer training programs available to students at Teesside University, and the close collaboration with the University of Nottingham in pharmacy and curriculum development.
He also emphasized the profound medical and research partnerships with Queen’s College and the University of Manchester, which have yielded high-quality training and research opportunities aimed at enhancing the expertise of both faculty and students.
