The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University announced the suspension of official work on Wednesday and Thursday, March 11–12, 2026, in observance of the martyrdom of Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). The university presidency confirmed that lectures for students will be delivered online during the holiday to ensure the continuity of the educational process and to prevent any disruption to the academic schedule. On this solemn occasion, Al-Mustaqbal University extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the Islamic nation, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His vast mercy upon Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and to grant everyone abundant reward and blessings. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
