Psychological Counseling and Rehabilitation Quality… Scientific Seminar in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering The **Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Mustaqbal, organized a scientific seminar titled “Psychological Counseling as Part of Rehabilitation Service Quality” on **Tuesday, 10/3/2026**, with the participation of the department’s students, aiming to raise awareness about the psychological aspects related to rehabilitation and healthcare programs. The seminar was supervised by **Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar** and **Engineer Aya Talib Hassan**, and it focused on the importance of psychological counseling in supporting patients and individuals with special needs, and its role in improving the quality of rehabilitation services by enhancing psychological and social adaptation and boosting patients’ self-confidence, thereby contributing to the success of rehabilitation programs. The seminar also addressed the latest methods in providing psychological support and counseling, and emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among specialists in rehabilitation and psychological therapy to ensure comprehensive services that achieve the best outcomes for beneficiaries.
