As part of the Ramadan activities and initiatives aimed at promoting spiritual values and fostering a faith-filled atmosphere during the holy month, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a humanitarian initiative distributing electronic prayer beads to a number of students and staff members, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar.
This initiative aims to encourage students to increase their remembrance of God and make the most of their time during Ramadan in acts of worship and devotion, while also utilizing modern technology to enhance daily religious practices. Additionally, the initiative seeks to promote a culture of positive values and strengthen the spirit of unity and solidarity within the university community.
The initiative aligns with awareness activities that support mental well-being and spiritual tranquility, in line with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 related to good health and well-being, and Goal 4 related to quality education, while also promoting positive societal values.
