Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the university launched a large tree-planting campaign that resulted in planting 10,000 perennial trees across the campus as part of the National Afforestation Program, in coordination with the Department of Operations Affairs at the University Presidency. The initiative aims to expand green spaces, reduce the carbon footprint, and support efforts to address climate change. The campaign witnessed active participation from faculty, staff, and students—especially members of the Sustainability Ambassadors initiative. At the end of the event, the university president expressed his appreciation to the Department of Operations Affairs and all participants for their efforts in making the environmental initiative a success.
