The Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts and Human Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized workshop titled Risks of Social Media for Children delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hamid Khalaf Matar with the attendance of students. The workshop explored the negative psychological and social impacts resulting from the unregulated use of digital platforms by children including the risks of cyberbullying social isolation and the influence of inappropriate content on personality development. The speaker highlighted the importance of parental supervision and the necessity of spreading digital awareness among families to protect children from exploitation or electronic addiction.
