The seminar was presented by Associate Professor Haider Alaa Al-Jaafari, who provided a scientific explanation of the mechanism of fractional distillation and its importance in industrial separation processes, He also clarified the theoretical foundations related to boiling point curves and vapor-liquid equilibrium, in addition to reviewing the applications of this process in the chemical and petroleum industries due to its important role in improving the efficiency of production processes and the separation of various components. The seminar also aimed to enhance the scientific knowledge of third-year students and link theoretical aspects with practical applications in the field of chemical engineering, thereby contributing to the development of students’ scientific and research skills.
