Al-Mustaqbal University Council Session: Enhancing Digital Transformation and Achieving Quality Education

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, chaired the seventh session of the University Council, which was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the university campus. The meeting was attended by the council members, including the assistants to the president and the deans of the colleges. An extensive agenda focusing on digital transformation and the quality of education was discussed. At the beginning of the session, the University President emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The discussion highlighted the need to complete the registration requirements on modern educational platforms such as IQ Learning and SIS. Council members were urged to intensify their efforts to ensure the effective completion of this process, enabling students to fully benefit from the available digital resources. The meeting also stressed the importance of programmatic accreditation for all departments and academic programs, in accordance with the ministry’s directives and the applicable standards. This requires coordinated efforts among the various colleges to achieve the highest standards of quality in education. During the session, the council also extended its congratulations to Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari on the occasion of receiving the title of Professor, in recognition of his distinguished academic contributions and the outstanding achievements of the university’s faculty members. The session also addressed the activation of scientific and student activities, where the effective participation of students in various events was highly praised. The University President expressed his appreciation to the Academic Supervisor and the Diwan Affairs Department for their successful supervision of the National Planting Campaign, extending his gratitude to all colleges that contributed to the success of this initiative. In the framework of promoting scientific research, the council approved the establishment of new scientific journals and the organization of academic conferences included in the agenda, which represents an important step toward advancing the academic level of the university. The council also announced the adoption of the period from March 11 to March 16, 2026, to celebrate the Fourth Sustainability Week and the anniversary of the establishment of the university, with plans to organize activities reflecting the university’s achievements and its future programs. Finally, the council approved the summer training plans for students and faculty members in England, Egypt, and Turkey, according to the submitted programs. These initiatives are expected to contribute to developing participants’ skills and enhancing their practical experience. This session represents a vital step toward achieving the goals of Al-Mustaqbal University in transforming into a distinguished digital educational environment that meets the highest standards of quality in education.
