As part of its academic and awareness-raising activities aimed at supporting students and developing their skills, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries organized an awareness workshop on Monday, March 16, 2026, titled “Balancing Work and Study,” held in the Engineering Building under the supervision of Eng. Abrar Falah Naji. The workshop was presented by student Hussein Dargham to his peers, during which he shared his personal experience in balancing the demands of work and university studies. The workshop covered a range of key topics, including time management, prioritizing tasks, and the importance of daily planning to achieve both academic and professional success simultaneously. It also highlighted the challenges that working students may face, while offering practical solutions and realistic advice to help them continue their studies and achieve excellence. This event is part of the department’s commitment to supporting students academically and in terms of skills development, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
