As part of its academic and awareness-raising activities aimed at supporting students and developing their skills, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries organized an awareness workshop titled “Balancing Work and Study,” supervised by M.M. Abrar Falah Naji and presented by student Hussein Dargham to his fellow students, during which he shared his personal experience in balancing the demands of work and university studies.
The workshop covered a range of important topics, including time management, prioritizing tasks, and the importance of daily planning to achieve both academic and professional success simultaneously. The student also discussed the challenges that working students may face and offered practical advice and insights to help them continue their studies and excel.
The workshop saw significant engagement from the students, with many questions and discussions raised regarding the best methods for students to achieve a balance between their academic and professional lives.
This event is part of efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
