Al-Mustaqbal University has launched an extensive afforestation campaign to plant ten thousand seedlings of perennial trees as part of the National Afforestation Program, aiming to enhance environmental sustainability and create a green campus. The campaign saw the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, along with significant field participation from the Anesthesia Techniques Department. The department's delegation was led by the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khudhair Al-Hamairy, and the Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Fadhil, accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Ali Shaban and lecturers Zaid Jawdat and Ali Qasim, with active contributions from the department's students and "Sustainability Ambassadors." This initiative aims to reduce the carbon footprint and instill environmental awareness among students. At the conclusion of the event, the University President praised the role of the Anesthesia Techniques Department and its faculty in ensuring the success of this event, reaffirming the university's commitment to supporting environmental projects that serve the community and future generations.
