In line with the university administration’s vision to enhance the educational system, the Department of Computer Engineering held an expanded meeting of the Quality Committee, chaired by the department chair and attended by the committee members, The meeting was dedicated to discussing the executive roadmap for developing academic performance and establishing program and international accreditation standards within the department. The meeting reviewed a comprehensive assessment of the mechanisms for implementing quality assurance standards, emphasizing the need to comply with the directives of the esteemed University President regarding the updating of curricula and the improvement of learning outcomes, ensuring their alignment with global technological advancements and the requirements of the contemporary job market. The session also featured intensive discussions on topics related to monitoring operational quality plans and documenting academic activities, as well as ways to develop the educational and research environment, thereby contributing to the advancement of the department’s academic mission and the achievement of the university’s goals in providing a rigorous education characterized by leadership and excellence. At the conclusion of the deliberations, attendees emphasized the principle of “institutional integration” among the faculty, scientific committees, and administrative bodies to ensure the effective and professional enforcement of quality standards, thereby guaranteeing sustainable development in academic performance and reinforcing the department’s and the university’s prestigious standing in scientific rankings.
