The President of Al‑Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired the seventh University Council session held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, on campus. The meeting was attended by council members, assistants, and college deans, including the Dean of the College of Medical and Health Technologies, who affirmed the college’s full support for academic development and digital transformation initiatives.
The session featured an extensive agenda focused on digital transformation and education quality. At the outset, the University President emphasized adherence to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, highlighting the importance of completing registration requirements on modern educational platforms such as IQ Learning and SIS. Council members were urged to intensify efforts to ensure students fully benefit from available digital resources.
The council also stressed the necessity of achieving program accreditation for all departments and academic programs in accordance with ministerial directives and recognized quality standards, requiring coordinated efforts across colleges.
During the session, congratulations were extended to Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari on attaining the rank of professorship, in recognition of his distinguished academic contributions.
The council reviewed the activation of scientific and student activities, praising students’ active engagement. The University President also thanked the Academic Supervisor and the Diwan Affairs Department for successfully overseeing the National Tree-Planting Campaign, expressing appreciation to all participating colleges.
To strengthen scientific research, the council approved the establishment of new academic journals and the organization of specialized conferences listed on the agenda, marking an important step toward advancing the university’s academic standing.
The council further announced that March 11–16, 2026, would mark the annual Sustainability Week and the university’s founding anniversary, with events planned to showcase achievements and future programs.
Finally, summer training plans for students and faculty members were approved in England, Egypt, and Turkey, contributing to skills development and practical experience.
