Al-Mustaqbal University holding An Expanded Seminar to Review Digital Transformation Requirements, Programmatic Accreditation, and the Development of Work Mechanisms.

In pursuit of the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), and within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing institutional performance and advancing the level of academic and administrative work, the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded seminar attended by senior staff and all faculty members and affiliates across the university formations. The seminar aimed to review performance across various sectors and discuss mechanisms for development and institutional organization. At the beginning of the seminar, the University President delivered a keynote address in which he extended his congratulations to the university staff on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr, praising the achievements accomplished by the university in various fields during the previous period. He noted that these accomplishments were the result of the efforts of colleges, academic departments, and supporting units within the university presidency. In his speech, the President emphasized the importance of teamwork and continuing efforts to develop institutional performance, particularly in the field of university work automation. He stressed the need to automate the educational process in alignment with the electronic platforms launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, contributing to enhancing academic management efficiency and developing a digital learning environment. He also highlighted the importance of embracing students and considering them essential partners in various activities and achievements of the university, stressing the need to promote mutual respect and foster principles of professional and humane interaction among all members of the academic community. The seminar sessions were then opened with a speech by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuheiri, who reviewed key indicators related to research activity at the university and mechanisms for performance evaluation in accordance with the formation plans for the academic year 2025–2026. He also discussed areas for activating memoranda of understanding with local and international universities to strengthen the university’s academic reputation and enhance its presence in international academic circles. He further addressed preparations for organizing the “Future Sustainability Week,” scheduled to be held on campus in mid-April, as well as institutional participation in the EURIE 2026 – Eurasia Higher Education Summit, to be held in early April in Istanbul, as one of the key international events focused on higher education internationalization and academic partnerships. Additionally, the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, discussed during the seminar the regulations of examination committees and mechanisms for organizing examination processes to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and transparency. The seminar also included a review of several important organizational topics, including instructions for registration in electronic educational systems such as IQ-Learning and SIS, as well as quality assurance guidelines, academic program requirements, and accreditation standards. It also covered data related to workload systems and salary structures linked to information technology systems. This seminar comes ضمن a series of regular meetings organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to monitor institutional performance and enhance coordination among academic and administrative units, contributing to improving the university work environment and achieving the highest standards of quality in higher education.
