In line with Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to enhancing institutional performance and elevating academic and administrative work, the university holds an extensive symposium chaired by the President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the participation of senior staff and all faculty and administrative members. The symposium aims to review performance across various operational areas and discuss mechanisms for institutional development and organizational improvement.
At the opening of the symposium, the University President emphasized the importance of teamwork, praising the achievements realized during the past period, which resulted from the integrated efforts of colleges, academic departments, and supporting units. He also extended his congratulations to the university community on the upcoming Eid al-Fitr.
He highlighted the need to continuously develop institutional performance, particularly in automating university operations, with a focus on digitizing the educational process in line with the e-platforms launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. These efforts aim to enhance academic administration efficiency and advance the digital learning environment.
The President also stressed the importance of supporting students and considering them essential partners in the university’s progress, emphasizing the need to instill mutual respect and uphold humane values across the university community.
The symposium includes a presentation by the Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, Prof. Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, who reviewed key research indicators and performance evaluation mechanisms according to the 2025–2026 academic plans, in addition to discussing the activation of memoranda of understanding with local and international universities to strengthen the university’s academic reputation.
The symposium also covers preparations for the Future Sustainability Week and the university’s participation in the EURIE 2026 Summit in Istanbul, a key international platform to enhance academic partnerships and internationalize higher education.
Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, the Scientific Assistant, reviewed examination committee instructions and operational procedures to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.
Several organizational matters were also discussed, including e-learning systems such as IQ-Learning and SIS, academic quality and accreditation requirements, as well as payroll and attendance data linked to IT systems.
This symposium is part of the university’s ongoing series of periodic meetings aimed at enhancing coordination across its various units and improving the university work environment, in line with achieving the highest standards of quality in higher education.
