The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University has issued a university order granting all university staff one month of service credit, in accordance with the provisions of Article (21/First) of the State Employees Discipline Law No. (14) of 1991, as amended.
This decision comes for the purposes of annual increment and promotion, in appreciation of the outstanding efforts made by the university’s staff, which have contributed to enhancing the institution’s standing and improving its academic and administrative performance. It also serves as recognition of their receipt of a letter of appreciation and gratitude from the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, numbered (M.W/3/140) and dated 22/1/2026, in acknowledgment of their dedicated contributions.
The University Presidency emphasized that this recognition reflects its commitment to supporting and motivating academic and administrative competencies, given their vital role in establishing leadership across Iraqi state institutions, as well as contributing to the completion of smart governance and comprehensive digital transformation within the Ministry.
This decision represents a positive step toward strengthening the university work environment and encouraging staff to continue their excellence and innovation in a manner that serves the educational process and achieves sustainable development goals.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
