The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired the seventh session of the University Council, which was held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the university campus. The meeting was attended by council members, including the assistants and deans of colleges, and featured a comprehensive agenda focused on digital transformation and quality education.
At the beginning of the session, the University President emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Particular attention was given to the necessity of completing registration requirements on modern educational platforms such as IQ Learning and SIS. Council members were urged to intensify their efforts to ensure the effective completion of this process, enabling students to benefit from the available digital resources.
The session also stressed the importance of obtaining program accreditation for all departments and academic programs, in accordance with ministerial directives and established alignment standards. This process requires integrated efforts among all colleges to achieve quality benchmarks in education.
The council extended its congratulations to Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari on the occasion of being awarded the title of Professorship, in recognition of the outstanding academic contributions made by faculty members at the university.
Furthermore, the session addressed the activation of scientific and student activities, highlighting the active participation of students in various events. The University President expressed his appreciation to the Academic Supervisor and the Diwan Affairs Department for their successful supervision of the National Tree-Planting Campaign, and extended his gratitude to all colleges that contributed to its success.
In support of scientific research, the council approved the establishment of scientific journals and the organization of conferences included in the agenda, marking a significant step toward advancing the academic level.
The council also announced the adoption of the period from March 11 to 16, 2026, as the annual celebration of the Fourth Sustainability Week and the anniversary of the university’s , with plans to organize events reflecting the university’s achievements and future programs.
Finally, the council approved summer training plans for students and faculty members in England, Egypt, and Turkey, according to the submitted programs, which are expected to enhance participants’ skills and practical experience.
This session represents a vital step toward achieving Al-Mustaqbal University’s goals of transforming into a distinguished digital educational environment that meets the highest standards of quality in education.
