As part of environmental activities aimed at promoting sustainability, a tree planting campaign titled “Clean Environment and Healthy Life” was carried out under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Abdullah Qais Hashem, with the participation of Engineer Aya Talib Hassan and Hala Muhannad Ismail, and attended by a number of students. The campaign was launched based on the importance of preserving the university environment and enhancing green spaces, given their effective role in improving air quality and reducing pollution, as well as spreading environmental awareness and encouraging students to adopt positive environmental behaviors. The campaign included planting a number of trees and plants in various locations across the university campus, contributing to the creation of a healthier and more sustainable educational environment. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 13 (Climate Action), by supporting environmental efforts and achieving a balance between development and the preservation of natural resources.
