Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamza Dhamam Al-Mamouri, and with the participation of Engineer Hadeer Hussam Hashem and Mohammed Habib Hussein, a tree planting campaign titled “Today’s Tree for a Better Tomorrow” was organized as part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability within the university. The campaign aims to encourage environmental preservation and expand green spaces, given their positive impact on improving air quality and enhancing the health of the university community, in addition to fostering values of volunteerism and social responsibility among students. The campaign included planting a number of trees in various locations across the campus to enhance the environmental landscape and create a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13 (Climate Action) and Goal 15 (Life on Land), by supporting efforts to protect the environment and achieve sustainability.
