The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University Approves the Digital Transformation Strategy and Affirms Its Commitment to Enhancing the Quality of Education

The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University held its seventh session on Sunday, March 15, 2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and attended by the assistants and college deans, to discuss key strategic issues related to digital transformation and the quality of education. During the meeting, the University President emphasized that the current phase requires accelerating the pace of digital transformation. He stressed the importance of completing student registration on the IQ Learning and SIS platforms, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education. He also highlighted the necessity of fulfilling programmatic accreditation requirements for all colleges and academic departments, in order to strengthen the university’s academic standing at both local and international levels. The session also included honoring Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari on the occasion of attaining the rank of full professor, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting academic excellence. The Council further praised the success of the National Afforestation Campaign, as well as the impactful student activities that have contributed to fostering a spirit of initiative and belonging among students. In support of scientific research, the Council approved the establishment of new academic journals and the expansion of the university’s conference map, keeping pace with global scientific developments. It also announced that the period from March 11 to March 16, 2026, has been designated for the annual celebration of the “Fourth Sustainability Week,” coinciding with the anniversary of the university’s founding. As part of its strategic efforts toward internationalization, the Council approved summer training programs for students and faculty members in England, Egypt, and Turkey. These programs aim to enhance specialized skills and provide exposure to global educational experiences, contributing to the development of an integrated digital learning environment that meets the highest standards of comprehensive quality.
