Mr. President of al mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, chaired the seventh session of the University Council, held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, on the university campus. The meeting was attended by council members, including assistants and deans of faculties, and a comprehensive agenda focusing on digital transformation and quality education was discussed. At the beginning of the session, the university president emphasized the importance of adhering to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The discussion highlighted the necessity of completing registration requirements on modern educational platforms such as IQ Learning and SIS. He called on council members to intensify their efforts to ensure the effective completion of this work, guaranteeing students benefit fully from the available digital resources. The session also stressed the importance of programmatic accreditation for all departments and programs, in accordance with ministry guidelines and established compliance principles. This process requires coordinated efforts across different faculties to achieve quality standards in education. The meeting celebrated Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari for attaining the rank of full professor, reflecting appreciation for the outstanding academic contributions of faculty members at the university. The session also addressed the activation of scientific and student activities, praising students’ active participation in various initiatives. The university president thanked the Academic Supervisor and the Office Affairs Department for their successful supervision of the National Planting Campaign, expressing gratitude to all faculties that contributed to the campaign’s success. In the context of promoting scientific research, the council approved the establishment of scientific journals and the organization of conferences presented in the agenda, marking an important step toward advancing academic standards. The council announced the period from March 11 to 16, 2026, as the designated time for the annual celebration during the fourth Sustainability Week and the university’s founding anniversary, with anticipation for events that reflect the university’s achievements and future programs. Finally, the summer training plans for students and faculty in England, Egypt, and Turkey, according to the proposed programs, were approved. These initiatives aim to develop participants’ skills and enhance practical experience.
