Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques Participates in a Specialized Workshop Under the auspices of the College of Medical Laboratory Techniques at Future University, and in the presence of Lecturer Dr. Dhu al-Fiqar Ahmed Hamza, Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, and Dr. Mohammad Haider, Department Coordinator, the university organized a specialized workshop on “First Aid and Fundamentals of Nursing” on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The workshop was attended by a large number of faculty members and students of the college, in addition to specialists from various hospitals and medical centers. It focused on enhancing practical skills and theoretical knowledge in the field of first aid and nursing, contributing to raising participants’ competence in dealing with emergency cases. The workshop included a series of scientific lectures delivered by specialized experts, covering the fundamentals of handling injuries and medical and home accidents, methods of providing initial support to critical cases, and the latest globally recognized medical guidelines and recommendations. Interactive discussion sessions were also held, allowing participants to ask questions and share their practical experiences, thereby facilitating the exchange of expertise and enhancing understanding of proper medical practices. Lecturer Dr. Dhu al-Fiqar Ahmed Hamza emphasized during his participation the importance of such workshops in developing the skills of both students and faculty, pointing out that the university always seeks to provide an interactive learning environment that elevates students’ scientific and practical capabilities and enables them to apply what they have learned effectively in real-world situations. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to participants at the end of the workshop, recognizing their efforts and dedication to developing their scientific and professional skills, with a commitment to continue organizing such scientific events that contribute to enhancing education and training in the field of medical laboratory techniques.
