Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies organized an awareness campaign titled “Together Against Violence” on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, on the university campus. The campaign was delivered by a number of faculty members and targeted female students of the department.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness among female students about the importance of combating violence and the necessity of addressing violent situations in civilized and safe ways. This was achieved by highlighting the risks of violence in its various forms (psychological, physical, and digital), emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of tolerance and respect, and promoting constructive dialogue within the family and society. These efforts contribute to building a healthy and safe environment based on understanding and cooperation. The campaign also included practical awareness guidelines, such as methods of preventing violence, identifying ways to report emergency cases, and enhancing skills for safely handling violent situations.
Additionally, the campaign featured a training component consisting of workshops and interactive activities aimed at developing students’ skills in confronting violence with confidence and awareness, strengthening their ability to protect themselves, and encouraging the spread of civilized behavior within the university community.
This campaign comes as part of the implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Security, and Peace (2025–2030), in alignment with the state’s strategy to enhance the protection and empowerment of women in various fields—particularly in protecting women from all forms of violence within the university environment. It also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 4 (Quality Education) through the dissemination of social awareness and knowledge, Goal 5 (Gender Equality) by empowering women and enhancing their role in maintaining a safe educational environment, and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting a culture of dialogue and mutual understanding.
This activity reaffirms the department’s role in supporting participation and leadership, empowering women, and strengthening their position within the educational community, thereby contributing to building a conscious and responsible generation.
