As part of its continuous efforts to promote scientific knowledge and develop students’ skills, the College of Science organized a scientific workshop entitled “Biochemical Analyses in the Diagnosis of Diabetes” on March 1, 2026, with the attendance of a number of students and individuals interested in the medical field.
The workshop was delivered by the lecturer Assistant Lecturer Sajaa Jawad Ubaid, who addressed the vital role of biochemical analyses in the early detection of diabetes and the mechanisms of its accurate diagnosis through various biological indicators. She also reviewed the latest laboratory techniques used in this field and their importance in improving diagnostic quality and patient health monitoring.
The workshop witnessed notable interaction from the attendees through questions and scientific discussions, which contributed to enriching the dialogue and exchanging expertise. Participants emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in enhancing the practical aspect and linking theoretical knowledge with real-life applications.
