As part of its efforts to promote health education and awareness among students, the Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign on the health risks of smoking on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, across the university premises. The campaign aimed to educate students about the serious health hazards of smoking, including respiratory diseases, cardiovascular problems, various types of cancer, and its impact on mental health. It also highlighted the dangers of passive smoking on others and explained the social and economic consequences of smoking for both individuals and society. The campaign included the distribution of educational brochures and awareness materials, as well as interactive sessions where students could ask questions and receive practical advice on quitting smoking and adopting a healthier lifestyle. The event received enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in discussions, helping to strengthen their health awareness and encouraging them to adopt healthier behaviors.
