The College of Engineering held an important meeting between Alaa Dhari Jawad, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries, and the instructors of the courses included in the joint exam, to follow up on the ongoing preparations for the exam process, under the supervision of Ali Kamel, Academic Assistant at the College of Engineering.
The meeting addressed a number of key topics, most notably the status of exam packet distribution and student attendance rates, in addition to emphasizing the importance of intensifying midterm exams and providing continuous training for students on multiple-choice question formats, thereby contributing to raising their level of exam readiness.
The meeting also discussed the status of current exams and the completion rates of the curricula covered by the joint exam, as well as presenting a set of proposals and practical plans for the coming period, particularly during the Eid holiday and the week following it, to ensure that preparations are completed before the start of exams.
This meeting aligns with the United Nations’ efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 Quality Education, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all through the development of assessment methods and the improvement of the quality of university education.
