Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Ahmed Radwan Salman, the College of Education, represented by the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences and the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, organized a humanitarian field visit to the Al-Ain Foundation in Babylon Governorate. This initiative was undertaken with the participation of Professor Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul-Jabbar, Assistant Lecturer Iltifat Aliwi Mohammed, Assistant Lecturer Noor Saad Musahab, and Ms. Samah Abis Jassim, with the aim of implementing a volunteer campaign to support orphans and those in need by donating clothing for Eid al-Fitr, thus contributing to bringing joy and happiness to their hearts.
During the visit, the college delegation met with Dr. Laith, who represented the director of the foundation. He provided a comprehensive explanation of the nature of the foundation's work and the mechanisms for providing support and care to orphaned children, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation in humanitarian fields. The visit reaffirmed Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to strengthening community partnerships through collaboration with the foundation to organize future visits for orphans to the university's facilities, including the "sanctuary," to experience its scientific and recreational environment. This will contribute to their academic, psychological, and social development, and encourage them to achieve their future aspirations according to their abilities and interests.
