Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Comprehensive Seminar to Review Digital Transformation and Program Accreditation Requirements

Al-Mustaqbal University organized a comprehensive symposium, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and attended by senior faculty and staff from all university departments, to review the current state of institutional performance and discuss development and organizational mechanisms. The University President opened the symposium with a keynote address, offering congratulations on the approaching Eid al-Fitr holiday. He commended the achievements made during the past period through the efforts of the colleges, academic departments, and supporting units, emphasizing the importance of maintaining this momentum to achieve further progress. In his address, he stressed the necessity of teamwork, focusing on developing institutional performance, particularly in the areas of digital transformation and the automation of university operations. He specifically emphasized the automation of the educational process in accordance with the electronic platforms approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which will contribute to enhancing the efficiency of academic administration and modernizing the learning environment. He also emphasized the importance of students' role as key partners in the university's journey, stressing the need to instill a culture of mutual respect and promote human values ​​within the university community. The seminar covered several topics. Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, reviewed scientific research indicators and performance evaluation mechanisms according to the 2025-2026 academic year plans. He also discussed ways to activate memoranda of understanding with local and international universities to enhance the university's academic reputation. He further addressed the ongoing preparations for "Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week," as well as preparations for participation in the EURIE 2026 Summit, scheduled to be held in Istanbul, which is considered one of the most prominent international events in the field of internationalizing higher education. For his part, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, discussed the examination committees' instructions and the mechanisms for organizing examinations to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and transparency. The symposium also reviewed several important organizational matters, including electronic learning systems such as IQ-Learning and SIS, as well as quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements, and mechanisms for implementing the quota and salary system linked to information technology systems. This symposium is part of a series of periodic meetings organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance coordination between academic and administrative units and to monitor the implementation of development plans, thereby contributing to a comprehensive educational environment that meets the highest standards of quality in higher education.
