In light of the rapid transformations the world is witnessing today, our role as academics at Al-Mustaqbal University is no longer limited to conveying classical theories, but extends to analyzing how the human psyche responds to contemporary changes. 1. Perception and Attention in a World of "Information Overload" From a cognitive psychology perspective, individuals today face a significant challenge in selective attention. With the influx of information through digital media, working memory is under constant pressure, leading to what we call "cognitive burnout." Herein lies our educational role: teaching students how to cultivate "mindfulness" to filter stimuli and maintain focus. 2. Motivation and Learning in the University Environment Motivation is considered the primary driver of the educational process. At the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, we believe that intrinsic motivation is the true guarantee of creativity. Building a stimulating learning environment that connects theoretical knowledge with practical application is what we strive to achieve in our classrooms, enabling students to transform from passive recipients of information to active seekers of knowledge. 3. Mental Health and Academic Resilience Academic achievement cannot be separated from psychological well-being. The concept of psychological resilience is the cornerstone that empowers our students to cope with the pressures of life and studies. Hence, the importance of psychological counseling within the college becomes clear, serving as a preventative and therapeutic tool that contributes to building a balanced personality capable of contributing to society. In Conclusion: A Vision for the Future At the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, we recognize that psychology is not merely texts in books, but rather the art of understanding life. Our mission is to prepare a generation of educators equipped with a deep understanding of the human psyche and the ability to instill noble values ​​in the hearts of future generations.
