As part of fostering academic openness and strengthening scientific partnerships among Iraqi universities, Professor Dr. Anis Ali Hassan, Head of the Medical Physics Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, took part as a committee member and supervisor in a PhD thesis defense at the University of Al-Qadisiyah. The defense featured the dissertation of the PhD candidate (Taqa Haider Abdul Mohsen) in Medical Physics / Department of Physics – College of Education, entitled: “Radiological and Toxicological Detection in Blood and Milk of Women Cancerous Patients in Al-Muthanna Governorate, Iraq” The research focused on assessing radiological contamination and toxic elements in blood and breast milk samples of women diagnosed with cancer, emphasizing its medical and environmental relevance. The thesis was approved successfully, and the candidate was awarded a PhD degree with excellent distinction, in recognition of the study’s scientific merit and research quality. This participation highlights Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding academic collaboration and promoting knowledge exchange to support the advancement of scientific research in Iraq.
