The Department of Medical Biotechnology at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Psychological and Social Factors Behind Belief in Myths,” presented by Ms. Madloula Muayyad Faiq, with the attendance of students from the department. The workshop addressed the key psychological and social factors that contribute to the spread and belief in myths among individuals, highlighting the role of scientific awareness in reducing such phenomena and promoting critical thinking among students. This activity aligns with the university’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals by promoting scientific culture and enhancing community awareness. At the conclusion of the workshop, emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing such scientific activities to develop students’ skills and expand their knowledge.
