The Media Department organized a humanitarian initiative in the form of a communal iftar meal for residents of a nursing home and an orphanage in Babil Governorate on the evening of Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The event was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Media Department, Prof. Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to social responsibility and its mission to foster the values of compassion and solidarity during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The event saw active participation from the department’s faculty members and students, who personally supervised the organization and service of the Iftar meals. The warm and joyful atmosphere left a profound positive impact on the residents of the care homes.
