Awareness Seminar on Preventing Negative Behaviors in the University Environment

As part of awareness activities aimed at promoting positive values within the university environment, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized an awareness seminar entitled “Preventing Negative Behaviors in the University Environment”, delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The seminar addressed the most common negative behaviors that students may encounter in university life and ways to prevent them through awareness, enhancing self-awareness, and fostering individual responsibility. It also emphasized the importance of reinforcing ethical values and positive behaviors that contribute to building a healthy and safe educational environment. The seminar witnessed active student engagement through questions and discussions of several real-life cases. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by promoting behavioral awareness among students and supporting a safe and motivating university environment for learning.
