Guidance Seminar on Effective Communication Skills with Amputee Patients

As part of guidance activities aimed at developing students’ human and professional skills, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a seminar entitled “Effective Communication Skills with Amputee Patients,” delivered by Engineer Aya Talib Hassan with the participation of Technician Mohammed Habib Hussein, on March 4, 2026. The seminar aimed to guide students on the proper approaches to التعامل مع patients with amputations by enhancing effective communication skills and understanding the patient’s psychological and social condition, contributing to providing comprehensive support that improves the quality of care and services. It also included practical guidelines and real-life examples to help students gain applied experience in this field. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 4 (Quality Education), by preparing qualified professionals capable of providing compassionate, professional care and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
