As part of awareness activities aimed at promoting sustainability culture and encouraging positive behaviors within the university community, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized an awareness activity titled “Water Conservation is Everyone’s Responsibility” on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar, with the participation of Engineer Aya Talib Hassan and Assistant Lecturer Hala Muhannad Ismail Haqi. The activity aimed to raise awareness among students and staff about the importance of preserving water resources and the need to use them responsibly, especially in light of the environmental challenges facing the world, which require collective individual and institutional efforts to achieve sustainability. The activity included practical guidance on reducing water waste in daily life and highlighted the importance of adopting responsible practices that contribute to protecting this vital resource for future generations. It also witnessed positive engagement from participants, reflecting their awareness of environmental conservation and their active role in supporting sustainable development goals.
