The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized an awareness campaign that included distributing an educational brochure titled "Women, Leadership, and Breaking Social Barriers" on March 15, 2026, implemented by Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar and Assistant Lecturer Hala Muhannad Ismail. The brochure aims to highlight the leadership role of women in society and the importance of breaking social and cultural barriers that may limit their participation in various fields. It also focuses on empowering women and equipping them with the skills needed for leadership, effective decision-making, and contributing to building a balanced society based on equality. The brochure included a set of practical guidelines and recommendations that encourage support for women and enhance their participation across all sectors, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting empowerment and gender equality values.
