The Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an online workshop titled “Reflections on the Brink: The Water Scarcity Crisis” on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with the participation of a number of students.
This workshop aimed to highlight the water scarcity crisis and its environmental, economic, and social impacts, as well as to raise students’ awareness of the importance of preserving water resources and rationalizing their consumption.
The workshop included a range of interactive topics, addressing the causes of water scarcity, its effects on humans and the environment, and discussing possible solutions and ways to mitigate the crisis. The workshop was delivered by Raed Jawad Kazem, who emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and the role of individuals and institutions in addressing water-related challenges.
The workshop recorded notable engagement from students through their participation, questions, and discussions, reflecting their interest in contemporary environmental issues.
The Forensic Evidence Department affirmed its commitment to organizing such online workshops that contribute to raising students’ awareness and strengthening their responsibility toward environmental issues, in line with sustainable development requirements.
This workshop comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to provide an integrated educational environment that promotes environmental awareness alongside academic achievement.
