On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries at the College of Engineering, Future University, organized an online scientific workshop titled “Future Visions for Water Resource Conservation.” The workshop was presented by the department’s coordinator, Dr. Muhammad Ali Sayhood, with the primary aim of emphasizing the importance of conserving water resources and exploring innovative solutions to ensure their long-term sustainability. The workshop addressed the major challenges currently facing water resources and presented forward-looking scientific perspectives that contribute to efficient management. These perspectives focused on the adoption of modern technologies and sustainable practices designed to minimize waste and maximize the effective use of available water resources. Additionally, the workshop highlighted the pivotal role of academic institutions in raising environmental awareness and fostering a culture of water conservation. The significance of scientific research in developing creative solutions to tackle water scarcity was also underscored.
