The Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries at the College of Engineering, Almustaqbal University, held today, March 29, 2026, elections for the first-year student representative in Hall No. 1 of the new Engineering Building, in the presence of the department chair and members of the Guidance and Awareness Committee, with the aim of promoting student participation and reinforcing the principles of teamwork within the university environment. The election process took place in a transparent and well-organized atmosphere, during which first-year students had the opportunity to democratically elect their representative, reflecting their awareness of the importance of participating in decision-making and expressing their opinions within the department. The Guidance and Awareness Committee also oversaw the election process, emphasizing the importance of such activities in fostering a sense of responsibility among students and enhancing leadership and teamwork skills. This event is part of the department’s efforts to support student activities and promote democratic values, thereby contributing to the development of students who possess the awareness and responsibility to actively participate in academic and community life.
