Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, Dean of the Engineering Technical College, the Advisory Committee of the Department of Power Mechanics Engineering Technologies held its regular meeting on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and representatives of relevant stakeholders.
The meeting addressed several key topics listed on the agenda. Discussions focused on developing academic curricula in line with modern scientific and technological advancements, and enhancing the alignment of learning outcomes with labor market requirements to ensure the preparation of graduates equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
The committee also reviewed mechanisms for developing laboratories and infrastructure to support the educational process and strengthen students’ practical skills. In addition, the implementation of quality standards and academic accreditation requirements was discussed in accordance with approved guidelines.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of supporting students and encouraging their participation in various scientific activities, given their significant role in developing students’ capabilities and refining their skills. The committee also stressed the need to continue holding such meetings to achieve the department’s goals and advance its academic standing.
