Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, the Department of Aircraft Engineering Technologies organized a specialized workshop for third-year students in the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Taysir Samir Jaaz and Mr. Samir Saad Rahim.
The workshop aimed to develop students’ practical skills in utilizing the Engineering Equation Solver (EES) software as part of the requirements for the Heat Transfer II course, with a particular emphasis on real-world applications in the analysis and design of heat exchangers. It included intensive training on solving complex thermal problems using numerical methods, as well as developing accurate models of thermal systems in accordance with modern engineering standards.
The workshop witnessed active participation from twenty-five students, who demonstrated a high level of engagement and comprehension. This contributes to strengthening their academic and practical competencies and prepares them for effective integration into the engineering labor market.
This initiative comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to support the educational process and enhance the applied capabilities of its students, in line with technological advancements and in promotion of a culture of innovation and academic excellence within the university.
