The Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department organized a distinguished scientific online workshop entitled “Water and Cosmetology” on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 9:00 PM. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Hussein Safaa, in collaboration with Dr. Shaimaa Adel from the Medical Laboratory Department, as part of a series of academic activities aimed at developing students’ skills and enriching their scientific knowledge. The workshop addressed several scientific topics, focusing on the importance of water in maintaining skin health and vitality, as well as its fundamental role in physiological processes related to cosmetology and skincare. It also highlighted different types of water used in cosmetic applications and their effects on various skin types. In addition, recent scientific methods and modern techniques that rely on water in cosmetic and therapeutic applications were discussed. The session witnessed remarkable interaction from the students, who actively participated by raising questions and engaging in scientific discussions, reflecting their strong interest in the topic and contributing to a deeper understanding of the subject matter. More than 70 students attended the workshop, demonstrating their commitment to participating in academic activities and staying up to date with recent developments in their field of specialization. This workshop comes as part of the department’s continuous efforts to organize scientific events that support the educational process and enhance students’ academic and practical competencies in alignment with labor market demands and ongoing advancements in the field of aesthetic and laser techniques.
