The Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department organized an online workshop entitled “High Temperatures as a Fertile Environment for Epidemics” on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM, as part of its ongoing efforts to address scientific topics related to health and environmental issues.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturers Saja Falah Hassan and Ola Hamza Salman, who discussed the impact of high temperatures in creating favorable conditions for the spread of epidemics. They also explained the relationship between climate changes and the increasing rates of disease transmission, in addition to presenting a number of health guidelines and preventive measures aimed at reducing their spread.
The workshop witnessed notable student attendance, with a considerable number of participants, reflecting their interest in such vital topics and their commitment to enhancing their scientific knowledge.
This workshop comes within a series of scientific activities organized by the department to promote health and environmental awareness among students and to link theoretical knowledge with real-world challenges.
