Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department, Dr. Abdelkadhim Abdelkarim, On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the Artificial Intelligence Department organized an awareness campaign entitled “Towards Sustainable Development for a Better Society”, with the participation of: • M.M. Aya Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Ali • M.M. Samar Hussein Hilal • M.M. Rafel Qusay • M. Banin Nazem This campaign was launched as part of ongoing efforts to promote a culture of sustainability and raise awareness of its importance in achieving balanced development that meets present needs without compromising the rights of future generations. The campaign highlighted the role of all members of society in preserving natural resources and adopting responsible practices that support sustainable development. The campaign included a variety of scientific and awareness activities, such as educational lectures, interactive workshops, and the presentation of visual and informational materials that illustrated key sustainability concepts and their practical applications in daily life. Social media platforms were also utilized to broaden the reach of the campaign and maximize its impact. The campaign witnessed notable engagement from participants, who expressed strong interest in the topic and a willingness to adopt more sustainable practices in their daily lives. Recommendations emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives due to their effective role in reinforcing sustainability concepts and building a more aware and responsible society.
