The staff and students of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a student activity on Tuesday, 1/4/2026, to distribute Iraqi flags across the university campus in celebration of the national team’s victory and qualification for the FIFA World Cup. The activity witnessed wide engagement from students and university members, who expressed their joy over this sporting achievement that united Iraqis and reflected a strong sense of national pride and belonging. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting unity and social cohesion, as well as Goal 4 (Quality Education) through raising national awareness among students and encouraging their participation in meaningful activities. The organizers emphasized that such initiatives help reinforce positive values and promote teamwork within the university environment, contributing positively to the broader community.
