Scientific Activity Modern Technologies in Prosthetic Design

The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific activity on 1/4/2026 titled “Modern Technologies in Prosthetic Design”, implemented by the department team: Assist. Lecturer Abdullah Qais, Engineer Ahmed Haider Shalaan, and Technician Mohammed Habib Hussein. The activity involved the distribution of an informative brochure highlighting the latest technologies and methods used in the design and manufacturing of prosthetic limbs, explaining how to improve product quality and better meet patients’ needs. The activity aims to enhance students’ and technical staff’s knowledge of modern technologies, strengthen their practical skills, and support innovation in the field of prosthetics to improve patients’ lives. The activity aligns with the following Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being – Improving patients’ lives through advanced prosthetic technologies. Goal 4: Quality Education – Developing students’ and technical staff’s skills through hands-on training and up-to-date scientific content. Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Enhancing staff capabilities to innovate and deliver high-quality healthcare services.
