The laboratories of the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, hosted a specialized practical workshop for first-year students on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, entitled "Blood Collection Techniques and Blood Typing", supervised by Assistant Lecturers Bushra Hussein Atiyah and Hanadi Tahseen Muslim, held in the Medical Building Laboratories 103.
The workshop aimed to equip students with fundamental skills in collecting blood samples according to approved scientific and health standards, with a focus on biosafety procedures and proper handling of laboratory samples. It also included practical training on identifying blood types using standard laboratory methods and linking these skills to practical applications in the field of forensic evidence.
Students demonstrated significant engagement during the session, enhancing their practical understanding of theoretical concepts and developing their ability to handle biological evidence accurately and professionally, supporting their future academic and professional careers.
