Assistant Dean Participates in Life Sciences Program Evaluation at the University of Diyala

In a step reflecting the active academic presence of AL-Mustaqbal University in the field of quality assurance and accreditation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, participated as a national evaluator in a site visit to the College of Science, University of Diyala, Department of Life Sciences. The visit aimed to assess the eligibility of the Life Sciences program for programmatic accreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Science Colleges Programs in Iraq. It included field inspections of laboratories and classrooms, as well as a review of curricula and approved academic documentation. The evaluation also involved direct meetings with faculty members, students, and graduates to examine the program’s status, its compliance with quality standards and national requirements, and the alignment of its learning outcomes with labor market needs. This participation reflects the leading role of AL-Mustaqbal University’s academic staff in supporting quality assurance and accreditation practices, contributing to the continuous development of academic programs in line with national and international best practices, and reinforcing the university’s position as an active institution in advancing higher education in Iraq.
