The activities of the 5th ALMUSTAQBAL Annual Book Fair officially launched this Saturday morning at ALMUSTAQBAL University, with wide attendance from students, academics, and individuals interested in cultural affairs. The event is considered the largest of its kind among Iraqi universities and is held this year under the slogan: “Our Book… Our Future.” The fair features the participation of (25) publishing houses from various countries around the world, presenting a diverse collection of books and publications covering multiple scientific, literary, and cultural fields, offering visitors a rich and comprehensive intellectual experience. The program includes a variety of activities, such as direct meetings with a distinguished group of writers, poets, and literary figures, in addition to special theatrical performances, inspiring art exhibitions, and a bazaar showcasing innovative handmade crafts. The fair also includes the distribution of free book purchase vouchers to encourage reading and support a culture of book acquisition.
